For those who feel the sorrow of living in this world,
Seek enlightenment,
Want to be close to people's suffering, carrying it with them
And
Wish to change the world...
What is the sorrow of life?
Life itself is sorrow,
Especially for those who have a pure heart of empathy like a
child.
They wish to sit beside those who are suffering.
They wish to carry their pain with them.
For those who have such a heart, living in this world is
suffering.
A world that is indifferent to the suffering of others
It is painful to live in such a world.
It is sorrowful to live a life watching people who take no
responsibility for the joy and happiness of others.
They are sad to see people who are not cared for.
They are sad to see people who do not care for others.
They seek enlightenment because of this sadness.
They wish to change the world because of this suffering.
Then, what is their joy?
It is salvation for them to meet and know someone who has the same
kind of heart.
Well, I've been trying to meet those kinds of people my entire life
as my only hope.
All my activities in life are to meet people who have such a
heart.
Why? It's because such a person must have had the same kind of
suffering I had.
Because that person's suffering would be more than their own
personal suffering.
It would be the suffering of seeing a world where people are not
valued.
They must seek enlightenment because it is sorrowful to see a world
that doesn't value people.
Such a person would join any activity to change the world
I believe if there is even one such person that exists, there is
still hope for the world
The more people like this, the more the world can change
Change how? "This world will become a Pure Land of wisdom light" as
Nichiren said.
"The Kingdom of God" will come as Jesus said. The world will be
closer to heaven.
From ancient times, those who have left us their teachings must have
had the same heart.
The teachings of Jesus are the essence of this. So were the last
words of Shakyamuni Buddha.
He said, "Do not depend on people, but on the Dharma
Let yourself be the light and let the Dharma be the light."
A person who is responsible for the world, stands on their own two
feet.
A person who gives mercy to others, lives a life like, "I alone walk
like the horn of a rhinoceros" (Sutta Nipata)
From that spirit, the ugly mentality of religious groups does not
arise
There will be only the pure, soul, and that soul will guide us to
the profound spiritual world of the Universe.
Salvation, light, and hope is there. The joy of life is rooted in
the wish to change the world.
